The MAR2 series fixture has been a mainstay in the offshore and land based drilling rig market for decades. It is UL listed for hazardous environments where protection is needed from liquids or gasses.

The extruded aluminum body is thicker and highly corrosion resistant, perfectly suited to withstand the saltwater environment of an offshore drilling rig. The spring loaded lamp sockets assist in minimizing vibrations and the heavy-duty lens frame and lens help keep the water from entering the housing. We also use an end cap that allows for 360° fixture mounting. Being certified for wet locations and heavy hose down areas, this luminaire is also a good choice for waste-water treatment facilities, mining, military bases, refineries, chemical plants and other hazardous & wet locations.

Available with T12 and T8 lamps, a lamping configuration is available to suit your needs. The MAR2 is also available in a wide range of AC and DC voltage configurations and with an emergency battery backup option. This luminaire also offers an improved water shed housing design.
