The SXP series HID and compact fluorescent fixture set the standard for explosion proof lighting in the offshore drilling industry and is also commonly used on land rigs, in refineries, chemical plants, waste water treatment facilities, paint booths and any other area where protection is needed from explosive gasses, dusts and fibers. This versatile fixture is also approved for use in areas where salt water spray and chemicals may be a factor.

This fixture is also available as an explosion proof floodlight. Emergency versions are available as emergency only or emergency and normal operation in compact fluorescent, offering up to 90 minutes of egress lighting. This allows employees to finish their tasks and exit these hazardous environments safely.
