The XP series fixture set the standard for explosion proof lighting in the offshore drilling industry and is commonly used on land rigs, in refineries, chemical plants, wastewater treatment facilities, paint booths, and any other area where protection is needed from explosive gasses, dusts, and fibers. This versatile fixture is also approved for use in areas where salt-water spray and chemicals may be a factor.
The XP is also approved for areas rated 55 degrees Celsius, making it practical for use in a wider range of applications.
Two and four lamp versions are also available with an emergency battery backup option, which offers at least 90 minutes of egress lighting. This allows employees to finish their tasks and exit these hazardous environments safely.
We also offer the XPPL, which was designed in partnership with several aircraft manufacturers to offer the portable solution that they need for aircraft inspection and maintenance. Its 50-foot cord, explosion proof switch & plug and electrically conductive wheels make it the fixture of choice of aircraft, spacecraft and other vehicle manufacturing & maintenance. |
