The SAFJ series luminaire is our most versatile product by far. Often referred to as the “troffer of the hazardous and severe environment lighting industry”, this fixture is used in environments where protection is needed from liquids or gasses, dusts or fibers. This series is an extention of our existing SAF series, making the same quality product available in a smaller, medium base housing and in lower wattages to fit a wider range of applications.
The SAFJ series fixture is available with ceiling, pendant, wall and stanchion top mounting options. There are also various combinations of globes, guards, refractors, reflectors and other options to assure that a finished product can be configured to meet your needs. Commonly used on offshore and land based drilling rigs, in waste water treatment facilities, concrete plants, in tunnel lighting, food processing, refineries, chemical plants warehouses, mining and any other area where hazardous location, heavy hose down, wet/damp location, corrosion resistant or restricted breathing fixtures are needed.
Available with metal halide and high-pressure sodium lamping options, coupled with the various photometric options assure that the right product can be designed for your application. The SAFJ is also available in a wide range of wattage optionsand voltage options.
